Trans-cultural and pedagogical music projects
She works as a professional voice teacher with a focus on classical and contemporary singing. Her teaching draws on universal vocal principles rooted in the belcanto tradition and integrates stylistic awareness and functional approaches. She continually expands her pedagogical work through ongoing professional development, including courses in Estill Voice Training, and incorporates selected tools where appropriate.
Her students perform in professional training programmes, including the Young Artist Musical Programme at Staatstheater Wiesbaden and the Musical Theatre programme at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. She works with singers at different career stages and has prepared students for performances and projects in Germany as well as internationally, including London, New York and Athens.
Alongside individual tuition, she leads group formats, choral coaching and geragogical singing courses. Her work includes projects with the Königskinder choir of the Altkönigschule (with performances at Oper Frankfurt), the Landesjugendchor Rheinland-Pfalz and Main Event Popchor, as well as formats such as Endlich Zeit für Singen.
A further focus of her work lies in artistic, pedagogical and trans-cultural music mediation. She has been involved in mediation projects in collaboration with institutions such as SWR Freiburg, Oper Frankfurt and the Tonhalle Düsseldorf.
She has taught at the Music Schools of the Cities of Bad Homburg and Offenbach and at the Music Academy Frankfurt, and now runs her own vocal classes. She has also taught voice training to speech therapy students at Hochschule Fresenius, focusing on vocal function and healthy voice use for educational and clinical contexts.
In addition, she works as a presentation and vocal coach for teachers, managers and professionals in leadership positions, focusing on voice, body awareness and spoken performance. Her work is complemented by research-based practice on mental strategies and optimal performance states for singers.
Jessica Tassinari teaches in person in the Frankfurt region and Dubai, as well as online.
